BH070 - Toyota 2JZ A340E Bellhousing

Toyota bellhousing for Toyota 2JZ Applications is patterned after the desirable Toyota J3 bellhousing. This is an exact replacement for the J3 bellhousing with all bosses, clamp mounts, and threaded lugs for a bolt in replacement. Fits OEM Asian Automatic transmissions ONLY (Not Aftermarket Cases). This is an SFI 30.1 certified* case meeting the stringent SFI testing procedures for flexplate explosions without any external shields required. Besides being SFI 30.1 certified, many desirable features have been added. The bellhousing is thicker and cast from high strength Aluminum and heat treated for additional toughness. There is a bottom access port to allow easier converter changes. The starter attaching bolts have been reversed so they thread in from the front making starter installation much easier in tight clearance situations. If the OEM style of the rear starter mounting bolts is desired, the bell has been machined with counter bores for the bolt heads and the threads in the bellhousing are simply drilled out by the user to allow bolt clearance.
